If you return your Vehicle in its original, undamaged condition within 7 days of purchase, we will refund all payments made to date or you can exchange your Vehicle for another of similar value, as solely defined by us. We have developed a very simple but effective way by giving the Buyer the peace of mind needed for online purchases. WIDE Marine & Automotive provides a 7-Day Money Back Guarantee for all vehicles sold through our system, only on these marketplaces: eBay, Craigslist or Kijiji.

Our 7-day guarantee is based on the Sellers description and the 63-Point System Check inspection we perform on each vehicle before being listed for sale.

To minimize the chances of failed transactions or returns, when it comes to vehicles sold, our staff compares the vehicle description with it's actual condition and inspection results, which will be in our possession by the time it is listed. We also compare or update any findings at the time when the 63-Point-System-Check inspection is performed, with the Seller's description, and post it on the marketplace of choice. To prevent the sale of stolen vehicles, we ask Sellers to present a driver's license or other government-issued photo ID when dropping off vehicles. Checks will be mailed only to the address on your identification.

Vehicles, trailers, RVs and other motors will be put through a Delivery Inspection to insure all mechanical items are in good working order or said condition. Your purchase will include a walk through with a certified technician at time of delivery. This is a time for you to see all items in good working condition and ask any specific questions related to operation and use, perform test drives, or even have your own mechanic at the site. We also run a full history report of all types of vehicles, trailers, boats, etc. This verification is just a security measure, we do not release any of the information mentioned above to Buyers, as it violates our Privacy Policy.

The 7-Day Money Back Guarantee starts once the Delivery Inspection is complete, signed by the Buyer and confirmed by the WIDE Marine & Automotive representative at the time of delivery.

THE 63-POINT SYSTEM CHECK

Many buyers don’t know what to inspect when purchasing a vehicle and end up with costly repairs after the purchase.

Our WIDE Marine & Automotive certified inspectors are trained to exceed the highest industry standards, promote professionalism, and thoroughly communicate their findings with clients. This process is the most throughout in the industry.

Upon arrival or when taken into consignment, all vehicles are being verified by a Technical Inspection Team for psychical condition, quality, accident history, etc.

Vehicles which do not pass our inspection, will not be listed for sale under WIDE Marine & Automotive Terms of Use. These are usually damaged vehicles beyond repair, vehicles that do not pass regular inspection or do not meet state regulations.

Cars, Boats, RV's, campers, powersports and all other vehicles will go through an additional background check (ex: history reports, ownership status, etc).
Vehicle Titles must be clear in order to pass our inspection. If there are any liens on a vehicle's title, the lien holder (person or finance company that has an investment interest in vehicle) must be paid off prior to you selling the vehicle with WIDE Marine & Automotive.
Salvage-Title Vehicles will not pass our 63-Point-System-Check and will not be listed for sale under WIDE Marine & Automotive Terms of Use. The consequences of a vehicle being issued a salvage title varies from state to state and the possibility of having such vehicle returned by the Buyer is significantly higher. Since we value quality and customer satisfaction, we do not accept vehicles with salvage titles to be sold through our services. See more about titles.

How does the 7-Day Money Back Guarantee work?
You’ve got up to a week to get to know your vehicle, boat or RV and to make sure it suits you. If, for whatever reason, you’re not completely happy with it, just let us know before 8pm of the 7th day following delivery and we’ll come and collect it for a full refund.
What are the limits of the 7-Day Money Back Guarantee?
We can’t accept a return if the vehicle has been modified or altered from the condition it was delivered in.
If the vehicle has been in an accident or is damaged, we may not be able to accept it as a return.
If I want to return the vehicle within the 7-Day Money Back Guarantee period, is there a collection fee?
Nope, we’ll collect it for free within the first 7 days!
If I return the vehicle, when will I get my money back?
Once a refund has been processed, it takes 5 working days for the money to be back in your account.
How does the refund process work?
When we come and collect the vehicle, we’ll check it over and agree if it’s good to return. Then we’ll kick off the refund process.
The refund will need to happen using the same original payment method and will include any charges for damage if there are any.
The refund will only be processed once we have your signed approval. Once all this is confirmed, your money will be back in your account within 5 working days.
What about vehicle titles?
Titles are transferred into the new owners name once the vehicle has been approved by the Buyer and after the 7-Days Money Back Guarantee is over, or during this period if the Buyer decides earlier.
What titles are accepted?
To reduce the return rate, WIDE Marine & Automotive only accepts vehicles with titles that are:
Clear - Vehicle has no accident history or has been in an accident minor enough that the cost of repair was less than the cost to write off the vehicle.
Rebuilt - A vehicle that has been previously branded as salvage but has been rebuilt/repaired and reinspected. These vehicles are drive-able but the rebuilt brand remains on the vehicle's title/registration documents permanently.
WIDE Marine & Automotive does NOT accept vehicles with titles that are:
Salvage - A vehicle that can be repaired but which would cost more than some predefined amount (often 75-100% of the car's value) to repair. Subject to structural safety inspection before it can be driven; documentation of repairs and sources of repair parts may also be required, depending on jurisdiction.
Irreparable - A vehicle that can be used for parts or scrap only.
Wrecked - Vehicle has been permanently dismantled or recycled as scrap metal. This status effectively prevents the VIN from the destroyed vehicle from ever being re-used.
Theft Recovery - While stolen is a status and typically not a brand (as licensing agencies can refuse to issue any title document once a vehicle is stolen), previously-stolen vehicles are often found dismantled, vandalized or destroyed through arson. Many are then branded and may be irreparable.
Abandoned - The vehicle was found abandoned by its previous owner. Typically not a brand, but may need to be disclosed in some jurisdictions.
