When a vehicle is listed for sale, we compare the original sellers description and pictures with the actual vehicle's state and condition. We offer a No-Sale-No-Charge approach to selling cars, boats, trailers, RV's and other vehicles. We take an up front fee of $199, which covers the work we do to prepare and market your vehicle for sale, including a thorough 63-Point-System-Check inspection, state safety inspection, basic interior and exterior cleaning, a vehicle history report, professional photographs, ad copy-writing, and various Internet listings. If your vehicle needs a full detail, we can take care of that for you for an additional $100 for sedans and $120 for trucks and SUVs. Boats, RV's and other vehicles can cost considerably more, depending on the service needed.

After we successfully sell your vehicle, we take a success fee directly from the sales proceeds. Our incentives are completely aligned: If we don’t sell it, we don’t get paid a success fee.

We find this gives online Sellers peace of mind their vehicle or Item is safe while in our custody. It also makes us work harder!

Secondly our Sellers pay no marketing or administrative costs.

WHAT DO I NEED TO LIST MY VEHICLE WITH WIDE Marine & Automotive?

To get started, we will need a copy of your driver’s license, current registration, proof of insurance, title (or lienholder information, if applicable), any available service records, and a full tank of gas.

DOCUMENTATION

Original, manuals, instructions, receipts, appraisals, accessories -- anything at all that you still have that came with the vehicle -- is almost always helpful in bringing up the final price. This is especially important for vehicles. Before you sell your vehicle with us, take a few minutes to find all the related materials you can.

FLAWS & DEFECTS

Most of the vehicles sold on eBay, Craigslist or Kijiji are used, and Buyers expect them to have some flaws and defects; but they must be disclosed in the listing! In fact, many Buyers are wary of purchasing “perfect” vehicles which are not new. If you know of any flaw or defect of your vehicle, tell us at the time of your registration. If you don't, chances are the Buyer will return the vehicle and you will be responsible for any additional costs of reversing the shipping process.

MAKE IT SHINE!

A picture is worth a thousand words, and that is certainly true on eBay, Craigslist or Kijiji. While we are more than happy to wipe off a little dust or a few smudges, often Sellers choose to use their own photos. If you choose to do so, take lots of pictures of your vehicle for marketing purposes. Make sure to get exterior shots of all corners and sides, pictures of wheels and tires, close-ups of any special features (Navigation screen, sunroof, DVD players, satellite radio buttons, power seat buttons), and all the interior seats in their various configurations (i.e. take a shot of your SUV with the back seats up and down, etc.)  The best time from a lighting perspective to take pictures of your vehicle is in the late afternoon.
